Presentation of Tajikistan at the International Business Forum in Kyiv

On May 16, 2025, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine, Davlatali Nazrizoda, took part in and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the International Business Forum "Prospects for Trade and Economic Cooperation of Eastern Europe with the Countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus," which was held in Kyiv.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Ukraine, Davlatali Nazrizoda, stated that our country, like other countries in the Central Asian region, has potential economic and trade opportunities and intends to further expand cooperation, increase the volume of trade and turnover with interested foreign countries, including with Ukraine.

In the presence of the participants of the Business Forum, using video materials, the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan over the years of independence were also presented, as well as the implementation of sustainable development goals, the investment climate and opportunities in the fields of economy and trade, industry and new technologies, energy, tourism, services, and other areas.

It is worth noting that the Business Forum, which was held on the initiative of the “Civil Diplomacy Foundation” and the “ International Ukrainian Institute of Women’s Diplomacy” was attended by the leadership and responsible employees of the embassies of the Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan and Moldova, members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economy and Trade, Agriculture, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ukrainian companies and manufacturing enterprises.

The attendees emphasized that such forums and meetings contribute to the development of trade and economic cooperation, the increase of export potential, the attraction of investments and the import of modern technologies, and the strengthening of bilateral economic and investment interaction.
