Meeting with Compatriots at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Ukraine

On November 11, 2025, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the President’s Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Ukraine. The event was attended by activists of the Tajik diaspora residing in Kyiv.

In his address, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Ukraine, Mr. Davlatali Nazrizoda, spoke about the development of Tajik statehood, emphasizing that in Tajikistan, the President serves as the protector of the Constitution and laws, human rights and freedoms, and as the guarantor of national independence, territorial integrity, and state stability.

In this context, the Ambassador recalled the significant contributions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon – in establishing the foundations of modern Tajik statehood, restoring constitutional order, reviving national identity, ensuring peace and unity, and enhancing Tajikistan’s prestige and influence in the international arena.

Speaking about the activities of the diplomatic mission and its cooperation with compatriots residing in Ukraine, the Ambassador noted that next year will mark the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence Day. On this occasion, the Embassy plans to organize a series of events in cooperation with members of the diaspora.

The Ambassador also provided an overview of the current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine and called on compatriots living in their country of residence to contribute to the development of Tajik–Ukrainian relations, the promotion of Tajik culture, history, and literature, as well as to the improvement of living conditions for Tajik nationals abroad.
