Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with Tajik businessmen in Ukraine

   On December 8, 2025, the Ambassador of Tajikistan met with Tajik businessmen residing in Kyiv at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Ukraine.

  At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Ukraine, Davlatali Nazrizoda, spoke in detail about the economic and trade potential of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Ukraine.

   The Ambassador noted that the purpose of the meeting was to provide a platform for fruitful dialogue and to identify key areas and approaches for expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors in order to support and develop Tajik entrepreneurship in Ukraine.

  He then presented information on the activities of the diplomatic mission and its cooperation with compatriots living in Ukraine. It was highlighted that next year will mark the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, and on this occasion, the Embassy plans to organize a number of events in collaboration with Tajik businessmen.

  The head of the diplomatic mission encouraged Tajik entrepreneurs to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with regions of Tajikistan and to contribute to the country’s development. He emphasized that it has become a positive tradition for Tajik entrepreneurs living abroad to actively participate in the construction and reconstruction of roads,  bridges, schools and kindergartens, as well as the establishment of shopping centers and service enterprises in their homeland. This clearly demonstrates their active role in the development of the country’s cities and regions, the creation of new jobs, and the strengthening of the local economy.

  The Ambassador also called on the participants to promote the development of relations between Tajikistan and Ukraine, particularly in the areas of trade and entrepreneurship, the popularization of Tajik culture, and the improvement of living conditions for compatriots in Ukraine.

At the end of the meeting, participants received copies of recently published books in Ukrainian, including “Tajiks in the Mirror of History” by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
