Statement of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan

The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan strongly condemns the disgraceful terrorist act committed on the morning of September 9, 2020 in Kabul against the First Deputy President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Amrullah Saleh, as a result of which several people were killed and wounded.

We express our condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of the terrorist attack and wish the victims a complete recovery.

Tajikistan has always supported Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism and will continue its contribution in restoring lasting peace and stability in the neighboring country.
