Presentation of Letter of Credence to the President of Afghanistan

On December 6, 2020 in Kabul the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mr. Sa’di Sharifi presented Credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed the cordial greetings and best wishes of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon to the President of Afghanistan.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ghani expressed good wishes to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and praised the special attention of Emomali Rahmon to the expansion of bilateral cooperation. He also wished for further expansion of relations in all fields between the two brotherly countries.

At the same time, it was noted that close ties and regular meetings at the highest level, as well rich untapped potential in the bilateral relations provide good opportunity for widening and strengthening of the bilateral cooperation.
