Ambassador's meeting with representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

On December 17, 2020, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Saadi Sharifi met with representatives of the Afghan Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Afghan businessmen stressed that thousands of Afghans with large capital want to invest in Tajikistan because it is a peaceful and close neighbor, businessmen of the two countries understand each other's language and, most importantly, are not strangers to each other. In this regard, they called for the creation of conditions and privileges in Tajikistan for Afghan businessmen and investors.

It was noted that in Afghanistan, due to the continuing peace process there is an opportunity to provide favorable conditions for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Afghanistan in the sphere of business.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Saadi Sharifi introduced the investment opportunities of Tajikistan and the favorable conditions and facilities provided by our government. He also encouraged Afghan businessmen to invest in Tajikistan in accordance with the law and standards of our country.
