Visit of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Afghanistan to Kandahar

On April 10 and 11, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Sa'di Sharifi visited the city of Kandahar. During the visit, the Ambassador met with the Governor, a delegation from the Provincial Council, the Kandahar University, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, as well as a Minister of Urban Development and Land of Afghanistan Mahmoud Karzai.

The Ambassador also visited a number of industrial and commercial associations, a modern new hospital and clinic "Muhmand", a large pharmaceutical company "Snow Farm", and several historical and cultural sites of Kandahar.

During these meetings, the Ambassador of Tajikistan explained in detail the trade and investment opportunities in Tajikistan, the safe and peaceful situation and favorable conditions provided by the Government of Tajikistan for investors.

The Ambassador stressed that bilateral relations and trust between the two brotherly countries are at the highest level, and have laid the foundation for cooperation in trade, investment and other spheres.
