Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the US President's Homeland Security Advisor and the Special Representative of the USA for Afghanistan Reconciliation

On 15 July 2021, in Tashkent on the sidelines of the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Interconnectedness. Challenges and Opportunities” Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met the US President's Homeland Security Advisor Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall and the US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzod.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on bilateral relations between Tajikistan and the United States in the political and economic spheres, fight against COVID-19, expanding regional cooperation, combating international terrorism and extremism, as well as security situation in Afghanistan.
