Meeting of the Ambassador with the Chairman of the Swiss Cooperation Agency in Afghanistan

On August 3, 2021, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Afghanistan Sa'di Sharifi met with the Chairman of the Swiss Cooperation Agency in Afghanistan Walburga Roos at the request of the Swiss side.

The sides discussed in detail the current situation and prospects for the future of Afghanistan and noted the need for cooperation between the Embassy and the Agency in the current specific situation of Afghanistan.

It was noted that the ordinary people of Afghanistan are suffering from the current situation and they need help more than ever. It was also noted that the alarming security situation in Afghanistan is a threat to the security of the entire region. Therefore, the conflict must end as soon as possible, the issue of the host country must be resolved through dialogue, and the countries of the region and the world must unite all their efforts in this direction.
