Discussion of Tajikistan–Kuwait Bilateral Relations

On 20 July 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait Mr. Khusrav Noziri held a meeting with Mr. Nawaf Abdulatif Al-Ahmad, Assistant Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait for Asian Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a broad range of issues concerning cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait in priority areas. In this context, they emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon to the State of Kuwait on 3–5 November 2024.

The parties expressed their hope that the Fifth Session of the Tajikistan–Kuwait Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and the Fourth Round of Political Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, as important mechanisms for further strengthening bilateral relations, would be convened in the near future. In this regard, they commended the growing contribution of the Kuwait Development Fund to the implementation of strategic development projects in Tajikistan.
