Concept

of the 

3rd International Export Forum "Bokhtarfood-2023"

Forum location: Bokhtar city, Khatlon region, Republic of Tajikistan

Date: 24-25 May 2023

This forum, which falls under the State Export Development Program 2021-2026, will be held within the framework of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, aiming at stimulating exports, diversify export products, and simplify trade procedures.

Purpose of the Forum: This event is organized with the goal of developing exports, strengthening export-oriented production, increasing the competitiveness of domestic products in local and international markets, and expanding business relations between buyers and exporters by showcasing the opportunities and export products of the country, especially the Khatlon region.

Forum participants: Representatives of domestic and foreign companies and enterprises, representatives of the Government of Tajikistan, heads of state agencies, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the international organizations are invited to participate in the Forum

Forum sections: The following issues will be discussed in the working sections of this Forum:

1. Export development: achievements and opportunities:
   • Republic of Tajikistan: towards export development, export opportunities;
   • Measures to support exports in modern conditions;
   • Presentation of agricultural export opportunities.
2. Ways and mechanisms of export facilitation: standards and methods of development:
   • Development of standards and methods for export growth;
   • Procedure for developing standards;
   • Development of commercial product standards;
   • Development of food safety standards.

Forum format: This forum consists of several parts, including the official segment, panel discussions, business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-business (B2B) meeting sessions.

BactriaFood Exhibition-2023: In conjunction with this Forum, the BactriaFood-2023 exhibition will be held to present the production and export opportunities of the republic, strengthen export-oriented production, increase the competitiveness of domestic products, and expand business relations between buyers and exporters.

The exhibition will be held in person, allowing participants and guests to familiarize themselves with the specific features of each product, including their appearance, color, taste, aroma, sweetness, and other qualities. Simultaneously, participants will be informed about the volume, quantity, planting area, production capabilities, and seasonal ripening and harvesting of products.
