Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia

On November 5, 2024, in Kuwait City on the sidelines of the High-Level Conference on “Strengthening International Counter-Terrorism Cooperation and Building Agile Border Security Mechanisms – The Kuwait Phase of the Dushanbe Process” there was held a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Ms. Terhi Hakala.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of bilateral political, trade, economic and security cooperation, as well as the implementation of relevant European Union projects.

The parties also exchanged views on security risks and challenges, strengthening regional cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
