Meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq

On March 3, 2024 Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Iraq Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda during his working visit to Baghdad met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani.

The parties discussed the cooperation between Tajikistan and Iraq in the fields of politics, security, economy and trade, as well as other areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Ambassador raised the issue of repatriating the remaining Tajik citizens from Iraq to their homeland.

Also, the parties exchanged views on the current regional and global situation.

At the end of the meeting, the invitation was officially handed over to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq to participate in the 3rd High-Level International Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028.
