Celebration of the International Navruz Holiday at the permanent missions of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad

On April 20, 2024, at the Habtoor Grand Resort in Dubai, a celebration of the International Navruz Holiday took place at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the UAE and the Consulate General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dubai. The event was attended by representatives of the UAE diplomatic corps, guests, students, and compatriots residing in the UAE.

As part of the festive event, a cultural corner was adorned with national foods and sweets, Navruz symbols (haft sin and haft sin) were presented, and samples of national clothing, handicrafts, embroidery, musical instruments, and traditional folk crafts were exhibited.

On April 20, 2024, the Tajik teahouse «Rohat» in Kyiv hosted a solemn gathering on the occasion of the International Navruz Holiday with the participation of compatriots living in Ukraine and Ukrainian guests.

At the celebration of Navruz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda congratulated the audience on the occasion of the ancestral New Year - Navruz and reminded them that Navruz, which is a symbol of the revival of nature, the celebration of life and the beauty of spring, has now significantly expanded its geography and is recognized as an integral part of the cultural heritage of all mankind.

On April 22, 2024, in honor of the International Navruz Holiday, the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall hosted a gala reception and a festive concert of the pop ensemble of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by high-ranking representatives of Parliament, ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus, heads and staff of diplomatic missions and consular offices, international organizations, representatives of cultural circles, intellectuals, mass media, as well as numerous compatriots and Tajik students.
