Briefing on the Preparatory Process for the High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation

On May 20, 2025, a briefing was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan I. Nasredin and the Head of the Secretariat of the Conference S. Boyzoda on the preparations for the High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation (May 29-31, 2025, Dushanbe).

At the briefing, detailed information was provided on the preparations for the Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation, including confirmation of participation by official delegations from countries, international and regional organizations, financial institutions and research institutions. The audience was also briefed on the process of developing the Conference’s outcome documents and the detailed event program.

At the same time, participants were provided with information on organizational and logistical matters of the Conference.
