Tajikistan–Kyrgyzstan Consular Consultations

On May 27, 2025, bilateral consular consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic took place in Dushanbe.

The Tajik delegation was headed by Mr. Bahodur Safarzoda, Head of the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan. The Kyrgyz side was represented by Mr. Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu, Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the consultations, the parties discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, including the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, protection of citizens’ rights and interests, procedures for travel and stay of citizens, as well as other important aspects of consular affairs.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening consular cooperation and continuing constructive dialogue.

The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
