Meeting of Heads of Consular Services of Tajikistan and Russia

On May 28, 2025, in Dushanbe, on the sidelines of the XXXII meeting of the Consultative Council of Heads of Consular Services of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a working meeting was held between the Head of the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan – Bahodur Safarzoda and the Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation – Alexey Klimov.

During the discussion, current consular issues, the protection of citizens’ rights and interests, and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were addressed.

The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening consular relations and coordinating efforts to promptly resolve issues concerning the citizens of both countries.
