Meeting with the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

On May 30, 2025, in Dushanbe, within the framework of the International High-Level Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin,  recieved the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Nurlan Ermekbaev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening and deepening multifaceted cooperation within the SCO, including in the areas of environmental protection and climate change, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to protect the region's natural resources.
