Relations of Tajikistan with Mongolia

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Mongolia were established on April 24, 1992. 

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Mongolia (with residence in Nur-Sultan) is Mr. Ibodzoda Khayrello (11.06.2019) and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Mongolia to the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Nur-Sultan) is Mr. Luvsan Battulga (21/11/20017).

On March 23 2009, President of the Republic of Tajikistan made official visit to Mongolia.

On September 11, 2014, within the framework of the SCO Summit, The President of the Republic of Tajikistan met with the President of Mongolia. During the meeting two leaders discussed issues of political, trade, economic, scientific, and cultural cooperation between Tajikistan and Mongolia.

On September 20, 2016, in New York, on the margins of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly, a meeting was held between the foreign ministers of the two countries.

October 13, 2018 during the meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Dushanbe, meeting was held between Prime Minister of Tajikistan and Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia.

April 15, 2019 in Dushanbe Political, consultations were held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Mongolia.

June 15, 2019 Mongolian delegation attended the 5th Summit of CICA in Dushanbe.

The legal framework of the two countries accounts 5 interstate and intergovernmental agreements.
