Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan at the High-Level Conference in Bucharest

On April 15, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin during his working visit to Bucharest participated and delivered a speech at the High-Level Conference entitled “Connectivity for sustainable development”.

This event addressed issues related to the new EU Strategy for the countries of Central Asia.

At the opening session the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan delivered a speech and drew the attention of participants to the necessity to continuing mutually beneficial cooperation of the countries of the region with the European Union in order to enhance the economic, transit, transport, agriculture and energy potential of the countries of Central Asia, improve the investment climate and ensure sustainable development of the region.
