First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan met with the Head of the Syrian delegation

On 16 May 2019 in Dushanbe on the eve of the High-Level International Conference “International and Regional Cooperation on Countering Terrorism and its Financing through Illicit Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime” the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Khusrav Noziri received the Head of the Syrian delegation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of that country in Tehran Adnan Mahmud. 

During the meeting issues of bilateral relations on various areas, as well as other issues of mutual interest have been discussed.

The Head of the Syrian delegation while referring to the high level of organization of the Dushanbe Conference emphasized the important role of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the international fight against terrorism.
