On November 15, 2019, a meeting of Central Asian foreign ministers was held in Tashkent. The Tajik delegation at the event was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
At the meeting current issues of regional development, perspective areas for further cooperation, as well as other important issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Foreign ministers also examined the topics of the upcoming Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State to be held in Tashkent in late November. At the upcoming event issues related to trade, economic and investment cooperation, development of transport infrastructure, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as other aspects of mutually beneficial cooperation will be discussed with the participation of the Heads of States.
