The interlocutors reaffirmed their commitment to the joint fight against COVID-19 and stressed the need to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, economic and security fields. The active role of the United Kingdom Department for International Development in mitigating the effects of COVID-19 through implementation of programs, including promoting economic growth and wealth creation, regulatory reform and direct support to the private sector, supporting transparent and efficient management of public finances, promoting regional co-operation and trade to stimulate growth were underlined during the conversation.
