On 15 February 2022, a telephone conversation took place between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Farhod Salim and the Foreign Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Suhail Mahmoud.
During the talks, the current state and prospects of relations between the two countries, as well as the most important regional issues were discussed.
The parties stressed the importance of expanding trade, economic, investment, scientific, technical, cultural and tourism ties between the two countries.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the upcoming 48th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to be held in Islamabad on 22-23 March 2022.
