Meeting with the United States Under-Secretary of State 

On 22 March 2022, on the margins of the 48th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Islamabad, there was held a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Under-Secretary of State of the United States of America Ms. Uzra Zeya.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the US in different spheres. The two parties also exchanged views on regional security issues, including situation in Afghanistan. At the same time, the importance of the activities of the C5+1 format and the expansion of bilateral cooperation within this platform was emphasized.
