18th Meeting of Secretary of Security Councils of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

On 29 March 2023 the 18th Meeting of Secretary of Security Councils of the SCO member states was held in Delhi under the chairmanship of the Republic of India.

Delegation of Tajikistan led by Mr. Nasrullo Mahmudzoda, Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan took part at the meeting and delivered a statement.

During the meeting the SCO member states deliberated on countering terrorism, extremism, financing terrorism and radicalization, illegal arms and drug trafficking, as well other security challenges.

The Secretaries of Security Councils of the Republic of Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic held a bilateral meeting on the margins of the event, where they had an exchange of views on furthering cooperation in security, as well strengthening confidence between two countries.
