Meeting of Defense Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

On April 28, 2023, meeting of the Defense Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in New Delhi under the Chairmanship of the Republic of India.

The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General Sherali Mirzo participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the challenges in the field of military and political security,  emerging trends that have a negative impact on international and regional security, threats of terrorism, extremism and separatism, transnational organized crime, drug trafficking and cybercrime were discussed.
