Ceremony of the Presentation of Credentials to the President of Sri Lanka

On 15 May 2025, Mr. Lukmon Bobokalonzoda - Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (with residence in New Delhi), presented his credentials to the President of Sri Lanka, H.E. Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan,                  H.E.  Mr. Emomali Rahmon, to the President of Sri Lanka.

The President of Sri Lanka congratulated the Ambassador of Tajikistan on the commencement of his diplomatic mission and wished him success in fulfilling his duties.

Following the ceremony, the Ambassador of Tajikistan met with H.E. Mr. Vijitha Herath - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Employment, and Tourism of Sri Lanka. During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements signed between two countries and the promotion of activities of the bilateral mechanisms on political, trade, and economic cooperation.
