Regular meeting of Tajikistan - EU Cooperation Council

On June 26, 2023, the Cooperation Council between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union held its tenth meeting in Luxembourg. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Tobias Billström headed the delegations.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on the key aspects of partnership and cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the EU, including in political and economic spheres. The parties also discussed the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union in the political, trade-economic, water and energy, security, fight against terrorism and extremism, human rights fields, current international and regional issues.
