Presentation of industrial opportunities of Tajikistan

On February 6, 2025, at the French Business Confederation (MEDEF) an event was held to present the potential of the industrial sectors of the Republic of Tajikistan and the opportunities for trade and investment cooperation in these areas.

The forum brought together representatives of Tajikistan, as well as French public and private officials, including the leadership of the French Business Confederation (MEDEF), officials of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France and representatives of French companies such as AMG Antimony SICA, Assystem, CLEIA, Ginger Sofreco, Herbert Smith Freehills and other companies.

The Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan, Mr. Aziz Nazar presented in detail the potential and opportunities in the mining, textile, food, construction, agricultural and pharmaceutical sectors of the country at the forum.

During the meeting, the French companies and the delegation of Tajikistan discussed various aspects of the industrial potential of Tajikistan and exchanged views on the potential of natural minerals and types of minerals, and on the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Also at this event, Tajikistan's energy potential was presented, and information was exchanged about the country's global initiatives in the environment and water sectors.
