Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to France with the Chief of Hydrological Systems, Climate Change and Adaptation of UNESCO

On 18 March 2026, the Ambassador of the Tajikistan to the France, Mr. Jamshed Homidzoda, held a meeting with Dr. Anil Mishra, Chief of Hydrological Systems, Climate Change and Adaptation at UNESCO.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNESCO, particularly in the fields of water resources management, climate change adaptation, glacier monitoring, and disaster risk reduction. The importance of strengthening scientific and technical collaboration, as well as capacity-building initiatives, was underlined.
