Celebration of the International Day of Navruz in Paris

​On March 21, 2026, the Embassy of Tajikistan in France organized a festive event in Paris on the occasion of the International Day of Navruz with the participation of compatriots and representatives of the Tajik community residing in France.

In his welcoming remarks, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to France, Mr. Jamshed Homidzoda, emphasized the importance of Navruz holiday as a symbol of peace, revival and the preservation of national values. He underlined that Navruz, as an ancient heritage of the Tajik people, has been recognized at the international level since 2010, and continues to promote the values of friendship, mutual respect, and good neighborliness among humanity.

The event featured traditional Tajik cultural elements, including a festive table with national cuisine, reflecting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people.
