Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with the Co-Director of CREE at INALCO

On 8 April 2026, the Ambassador of the Tajikistan to the France, Mr. Jamshed Homidzoda, held a meeting with Ms. Sophie Hohmann, Co-Director of the Centre for European and Eurasian Studies (CREE) at INALCO.

The meeting took place within the framework of the academic colloquium entitled “Les visages du Pamir: la montagne vécue, habitée, parlée”, organized by the Centre for European and Eurasian Studies (CREE) and the Centre for Research on the Iranian World (CERMI), in collaboration with the Institute for the Study of Islam and Muslim Societies (IISMM) and EHESS.

During the discussions, the parties addressed issues related to academic and cultural cooperation and emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between Tajikistan academic institutions and French research centers.
