Meeting of the Parliamentary Delegation of Tajikistan with the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly

On May 6, 2026, the Deputy Chairwoman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Assembly of Representatives) of the Majlisi Oli (Parliament) of the Tajikistan Ms. Mavsuma Muini and her accompanying delegation held a meeting with Mr. Bruno Fuchs, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of France.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and France, with particular emphasis on strengthening interparliamentary dialogue and expanding cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian, and cultural fields.

The sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, including security, sustainable development, water and climate agenda, and cooperation within international and parliamentary organizations.

Special attention was paid to the role of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting mutual understanding, strengthening political contacts, and supporting long-term partnership between Tajikistan and France.
