Presentation of Tajikistan’s Investment Opportunities in Riyadh

On January 27, 2021, at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Riyadh, Ambassador of Tajikistan Akram Karimi met with the representatives of industrial and export sectors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Exports Development Authority Abdullah Al–Obaid, Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom Omar Al-Shamlan and Deputy Head of the Food Industry Department of this Ministry Marshad Al-Marshadi.

During the meeting, issues of trade-economic cooperation and the ways to attract the Saudi investors to the industrial sector of Tajikistan were considered. The sides also exchanged views on the export potential of the two countries.

At the meeting, the investment opportunities of Tajikistan in various sections of economy, as well as water-energy, extraction of mineral resources spheres, food and pharmaceutical industries and processing of agricultural products were presented.
