Virtual meeting between the Ministers of Energy of Tajikistan and Turkiye

On April 28, 2022, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ankara, a virtual meeting was held between the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr.Daler Juma and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkiye Mr.Fatih Donmez.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on their energy potential and opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the field of “green energy” development using multilateral and bilateral platforms, including within the framework of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

Also, Mr. Daler Juma took the opportunity and invited the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkiye to take part in the The Second High-level International Conference dedicated to the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028" entitled "Promoting action and partnerships in the field of water resources at the local, national, regional and global levels" which will be held in Dushanbe on 6-9 June 2022, and the Turkish side welcomed the invitation.
