Celebration of the Constitution Day and the 30th anniversary of the XVI session of the Supreme Council

On November 5, 2022, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the Constitution Day and the 30th anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkiye with the participation of more than 100 students and compatriots living in Turkiye.

During his speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkiye Mr. Ashrafjon Gulov acquainted the audience with the role of the above-mentioned historical events in preserving the independent state of Tajiks, as well as with the merits of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon in the development of our beloved Motherland.

During his speech, the head of the mission quoted the statements of the Founder of National Peace and Unity, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon, and noted that: “The goal of annual celebration of the first Constitution adoption day of independent Tajikistan is to honor this fundamental and fateful document and the intention of our dear compatriots, who supported it in a very difficult historical period and thus laid a solid political, social and legal basis for a bright future for our country.”
