Meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan with the Minister of Trade of Turkiye

On November 10, 2022, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Zavqizod Zavki meet with the and the Minister of Trade of Turkiye Mehmet Mush in Dushanbe.

During the meeting, the parties noted the strengthening of trade relations in recent years, the basis of which is the political will of the leaders of the two countries.

During the same day, a Tajik-Turkish business forum was held at the Serena Hotel in Dushanbe.

On the sidelines of this event, cooperation agreements were signed, including the “Roadmap to increase trade turnover up to 1 billion US dollars between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Turkiye for the period 2023-2025” and the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation towards Free Economic Zones between the Ministry economic and trade development of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Trade of Turkiye.
