On December 8-9, 2022, to participate in the 6th Istanbul Economic Summit with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ankara, the country's delegation, including the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Rukhshona Nasriddinzoda and the Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee Muminzod Kamoliddin, traveled to Istanbul, Turkiye.
The event was organized under the title "Global Value Chain", Nasriddinzoda Rukhshona spoke at the panel "Economic Growth and Sustainable Development: Opportunity for Regional Integration" and informed the participants about the initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon regarding water issues, especially the proposal of Tajikistan to declare 2018-2028 as the International Decade of Action "Water for Sustainable Development" and the proposal to declare 2025 the "International Year of Glacier Protection", as well as the role and efforts of Tajikistan in integration processes and sustainable development of the Central Asian region.
At the same time, Muminzod Kamoliddin took part in relevant panels on the field of tourism and exchanged opinions.
