TAJIK-TURKISH BUSINESS FORUM

On December 16, 2021, within the framework of the visit of the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sherali Kabir to Turkey to participate in the 748th anniversary of "Shabi Arus" was held Business Forum of Tajikistan and Turkey.
The Forum was attended by representatives of more than 150 companies and enterprises from various sectors of economic activity of Tajikistan and Turkey, including the pharmaceutical industry, textile industry, finance and banking, mining, logistics, machinery industry, food, agriculture, and trade, as well as the ministry and the departments of the parties.
Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey Mr. Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sherali Kabir, Governor of Konya Mr. Vahdetin Ozkan, President of the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEIK) Mr. Nail Olpak and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Konya Selcuk Ozturk spoke and provided to participants detailed information on the investment climate and opportunities of both countries in various fields.
At the same time, in the presence of the leadership of the ministries and state agencies of the parties, several documents on cooperation were signed, including between the ministries of industry and technology of the two countries, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the Chamber of Commerce of the Konya, as well as between the private sector of Tajikistan and Turkey, more than 10 memorandums on cooperation in trade and investment.
After a bilateral meeting of entrepreneurs of the two countries took place in the "Entrepreneur with Entrepreneur" (B2B) format, at which commercial issues between representatives of the private sectors of both parties were discussed.
Participants of the Business Forum of Tajikistan and Turkey highly appreciated the mutually beneficial opportunities and initiatives covering all areas of economic cooperation.
