Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran were established on 9 January 1992. The building of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran was opened by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, during his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on 18 July 1995.
The Embassy building is located to the north of the Niyavaran Palace in Tehran, on Shahid Zainali Avenue, 3rd Street, No. 10.
It should be noted that the Embassy, in accordance with the directives and instructions of the Head of State, continues its consistent activity to strengthen mutually beneficial relations in all areas of mutual interest.
