Visit of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Tehran International Book Fair

On May 10, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi visited the Tehran International Book Fair. As part of the exhibition, the Ambassador had meetings with the head of the Committee of Foreign Publishers of the Ministry of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jan Alipour, and other officials, writers and lovers of Tajik literature.

By the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran and in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the tajik pavilion was organized at the Exhibition Hall. The pavilion is decorated with modern design and national patterns, and the books of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, newly published books of Tajik writers and scholars are exhibited there.

It should be noted that the Tehran International Book Fair is one of the biggest annual cultural events in Iran, and book publishers from different countries of the world participate in it. The exhibition will continue until May 18.
