Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with the Secretary General of ECO

On 22 August 2024, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Dr. Asad Majid Khan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening multilateral trade and economic cooperation within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

The Ambassador wished success to the newly appointed ECO Secretary General in fulfilling his mission and expressed readiness of the Tajik side to assist in the development of ECO activities.

It should be noted that Asad Majid Khan is the representative of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who succeeded the representative `of Tajikistan Khusrav Noziri as ECO Secretary General.
