Opening ceremony of the training course for medical personal of Tajikistan

On October 7, 2024, at the Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran was held the opening ceremony of the training course for medical personal of Tajikistan on "Primary health care" with the participation of the leadership and teachers of the Iran University of Medical Sciences, representatives of the Ministry of Health, Medicine and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Embassy of Tajikistan in Tehran.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the video message of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan J. Abdullozoda, attracted to the attention of the participants of the ceremony, in which was emphasized the high level of cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in the field of health and the benefit of these cooperation.

During their speeches, the Rector of the Iran University of Medical Sciences Dr. Abdulrizo Pozuki, the adviser to the Minister of Health, Medicine and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran on international relations Dr. Muhammad Hussain Neknom, the senior adviser to the Minister of Health, Medicine and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Osoi, the representative of the World Health Organization in Tehran Dr. Sayid Jafar Hussain and other Iranian medical specialists emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation in order to improve the level of medical services, including the provision of primary health care, and considered the conducting of training course for health system managers of Tajikistan as one of the good examples of beneficial cooperation.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran, Nizomiddin Zohidi in his speech, expressed his gratitude to the Iranian side for conducting training course for health system managers of Tajikistan and considered the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of health between Tajikistan and Iran as a result of the political will of the top Leaders of the two countries.

24 heads of health centers of cities and districts of the Republic of Tajikistan will participate in this training course, which will continue 10 days.
