The meeting of Economic Cooperation Organization under the leadership of Tajikistan

On October 28 of this year, the meeting of the member states of the Council of Permanent Representatives of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was held in Tehran, chaired by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan in ECO, H.E. Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi,  in which the issues on preparation of the 24th  Ministerial Council of Foreign Ministers of  ECO on November 8-9 in Antalya city, Turkey were examined. The Council of Permanent Representatives reviewed the agenda of the Council of Ministers meeting, draft of the Antalya Declaration and other relevant documents, and accepted the relevant appointments.

Considering the completion of Tajikistan's rotating presidency in the Permanent Representatives Council and the ECO Foreign Affairs Council, the organization's secretary general, Mr. Hadi Suleimanpour, addressed in the meeting, drawing on the intense impact of meeting with the Founder of national peace and unity - the Leader of the nation, the President of The Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon (21 August this year) and attending the Meeting of the ECO Tourism Ministers (3-4 October, Khujand), expressed his gratitude to our country and its server for their effective contribution in promoting the activities of the Islamic Cooperation Organization and expressed his appreciation for the strengthening of relations within the organization.
