Celebration of Constitution Day in Tehran

On November 5 of this year at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Tehran celebrated the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of compatriots residing in Iran, including Tajik students.

H.E. Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran in his speech congratulated to the audience 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, which has effective role in strengthening of foundations of governance, national and determines the future development of the independence of the Tajik nation. On this occasion, the prominent role of the Founder of the National Peace and Unity-Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon, was emphasized in the preparation of the Constitution and its acceptance through a referendum that transformed the supreme political and legal document itself into a Tajik people's statute.

It was also noted the role of the Constitution in the formation of the legal framework of foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, the implementation of which contributed to the integration of our country with the international community and consistent implementation of national interests.

At the end of the ceremony, a video of the day of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan was displayed and the works of the Founder of the National peace and unity - the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon, including the books of the leader of the nation in Persian was presented to the audiences.
