The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan presented the Credential Letter to the President of Iran

On June 17of  this year , Mr. Nizimiddin Zohidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, presented his credentials to H.E. Mr. Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the framework of the aforementioned ceremony, Ambassador Mr. Zohidi  met with President Rouhani, during which the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations, prospects for expansion of cooperation between states and other issues of common interest.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the results of his recent meeting with the Founder of national peace and unity - The Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon, in Dushanbe on June 15, 2019,  expressed the readiness of his country to cooperate with Tajikistan in all sectors, including Economics, trade, culture, and within the framework of regional and international organizations, have declared these relations to be of benefit to both governments and the region.

At the end, President Rouhani praised the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for hosting and conducting the 5th Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, desired for Ambassador Zahedi success  for his resourceful activity.
