Celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan

On September 9, 2024, by the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan, the 33rd anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was celebrated with the participation of high ranking representatives of government agencies, the diplomatic corps, representatives of international companies and organizations, as well as higher educational institutions of Japan.

Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Farhod SALIM in his speech emphasized the achievements and stable development of the country in the era of independence within the framework of the wise and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. The cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan, strengthening of relations between two countries during the period of independence and the importance of further expanding bilateral and multilateral relations with Japan was noted.

On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Emperor of Japan, His Majesty Naruhito sent a congratulatory message to the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Mr.Emomali Rahmon.

A cultural corner was presented and an official dinner was offered to participants.
