The Second “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue Ministerial Economic and Energy Dialogue

On September 16, 2025, the Second “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue Ministerial Economic and Energy Dialogue under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, H. E. Mr. Yoji Muto was held. The Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, H. E. Mr. Safarzoda Manuchehr, participated and delivered a speech at the event virtually.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassadors of the countries of Central Asia to Japan.

During the meeting, representatives of the Central Asian countries discussed the possibilities of strengthening economic and energy cooperation within the framework of the Central Asia-Japan Dialogue, the development and implementation of energy projects, as well as the adoption of the “Roadmap to Achieving Carbon Neutrality for Central Asia”.
