Meeting with a representative of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan

On January 20, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Farhod Salim held a meeting with the Deputy Director for Supply Chain, Manufacturing Industries Bureau Mineral Resources Division of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) Mr. Hoshi Koji.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and investment, which are of mutual interest to the two countries.

The issue on following up the outcomes of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan (December 19-20, 2025) and the implementation of the agreements reached during that visit was considered.
